COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Testing

Brashear’s Pharmacy provides COVID-19 rapid antigen testing Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9am to 12pm at our pharmacy location in downtown Inverness. Our COVID-19 test provides you with results in about 20 minutes. COVID-19 testing costs $90 and we are unable to bill insurance for this service. We can provide you with information to submit the cost of testing to your insurance company for reimbursement.

When visiting Brashear’s Pharmacy for testing please use our drive-thru. We’ll collect payment for testing at the drive-thru window. You’ll receive our Patient Consent and Health Screening Form, along with instructions to follow the signs to the side of our pharmacy building. One of our friendly pharmacists will meet you outside and administer the COVID-19 test.

Our COVID-19 antigen test is a mid-nasal swab that goes less than 1 inch inside each of your nostrils. The test is only mildly uncomfortable. After testing you’ll receive a pager that will alert you to return through the drive-thru and receive your results. Results are ready in about 20 minutes depending on testing demand.

Our test is most accurate in determining COVID-19 infection when a patient is already experiencing symptoms. It does not detect COVID-19 antibodies that would show a previous infection.
